ANZ Affiliation & Membership Fees

Good evening Randwick members,

As you may be aware, our governing body Archery New Zealand recently passed a new Constitution that will come into effect on the 1st October 2022.  Significantly for clubs, there is now a new category of membership – Affiliated Club.  Affiliated Clubs will pay an affiliation fee to Archery NZ for every club member, and enable all members of the club to become full members of Archery NZ.
As full members of Archery NZ, club members will be eligible for ANZ competitions, award badges and pins, achievement programs, leagues, records and ranking, professional development (coaching/judging/DOS), training camps, seminars, and have a say in the way your national body operates. Through access to these activities, members can become more experienced, supported, network better, and be able to provide more value back to clubs as volunteers.

Randwick's Club Committee met on 1st September 2022 to consider the Archery NZ constitutional changes, and to set the club fees for the 2022/23 season.
The Committee voted unanimously to affiliate Randwick to Archery NZ as an affiliated club from 1st October 2022.  This means all members of Randwick Archery Club will be eligible to enter Archery NZ competitions and postal tournaments, earn award badges, vote at the Archery NZ AGM, and much more.
The cost of Archery NZ affiliation is $35 per club member, which will be paid by Randwick to Archery NZ for every Randwick member.  To meet this cost, the Committee has increased our club membership fees for all financial membership types for the upcoming season.

Membership fees for the 2022/23 season have been set at:

Senior$205 per year
Junior$125 per year

Family membership discounts of $30 per person where two or more members reside at the same address will continue to be available.

When you renew your membership from 1st October 2022, your Randwick membership will also include affiliation to Wellington Archery Association, and Archery New Zealand.  The Committee believes becoming an Archery NZ affiliated club will bring measurable benefits for our members, and our club, and we are excited for this new development.
